I was thinking I would lay in wait in some dark corner that no one would notice and then strike out just as the unsuspecting fresh brain carrier walks by when they are not expecting it.

Of course I'd be prepared. I mean, honestly, how else do you think the outbreak would happen!? Are the zombies suddenly clever enough to raise themselves now? Because if they are I never got the memo and frankly I'm a little pissed about it.

It's not like I haven't had other things I could be doing. I have hobbies. I have friends. Do you think that just maybe I'd have liked to have been hanging out with them as opposed to spending six or more hours a night in a dank, cold, moldy crypt ensuring that all of the forbidden rites and infernal sacrifices have been made?

Some of us have a little thing called a work ethic. Some of us realize that we have responsibilities and we rise to meet them. Apocalyptic zombie outbreaks that wreck civilizations, destroy lives and beat the poor wretched masses down to the point of living like beasts who turn on one another and have no alternative but to name me their Dark Overlord, don't just "happen", Mike.

They take work.

And preparation!

There are 2 fantastic books by Max Brooks about the Zombie wars. One is called "How to Survive the Zombie Revolution(I think that's what it's called or something similar)" and the other is "World War Z" which is more about the war than how to survive it...they're making that one into a movie.
